WOW!!! I did it!

It has been 8 years since I started writing the story that is now A Small World, and at the time, I didn’t realise what I was getting myself into. In fact, the very first story, The Church Girl, was just a seven episode mini series on my blog… But even then, everyone said it had potential.

8 years later, I am about to publish the 9th book in A Small World Universe!!! Yes, yes, yes! A Small World – Season Five is coming, people, and it’s a banger! All the books have been amazing, and I can’t even tell you which is my fave… Read them and decide for yourself! Check out the reviews if you need more convincing!

In the run up to the release of this fifth season, I started a readathon online, recruiting book lovers and Christian Fiction enthusiasts to come together and read the stories together, starting with my free book, Broken. The first three books, Broken, The Church Girl, and An Emotional Affair, can be read in any order. He Cheated! is a part of The Church Girl saga, Mary’s experience in her own words, and it is the fourth book of A Small World Universe. Then we have the seasons: Season One – Valentine’s Day; Season Two – Three Weddings and a Funeral; Season Three – A Few Good Men; and Season Four – The Accused!

I have been on the radio, on the award-winning Book on Review with Benji Show on Classic FM 97.3, chatting with Benji and Tonia every Saturday evening at 7 pm WAT, for the last eight weeks about these amazing books! This Saturday, we will be discussing the last release, A Small World – Season Four (The Accused), which was written in a different way, to help anyone reading for the first time or after a long while to understand the story up to that point. I promoted it when it came out in January 2023, and it had great reviews too, many from people reading about the characters for the first time.

However, it’s a whole different ball game when you’ve been immersed in the story before getting to Season Four. So, I’m really keen on their thoughts this time around.

For A Small World – Season Five (New Year’s Day), you would need to read up on all the books in A Small World Universe to truly appreciate and enjoy it, which is why I started the readathon! Members of the readathon have been reading the books together, posting about them on social media, sharing their reviews, taking part in competitions and activities, and winning prizes!!! Mostly books, but also phone credit and cash. They are all competing for the grand-prize, which one lucky participant will win on the 2nd of December, when the readathon concludes in time for the countdown to the release of Season Five on the 21st of December!

The grand prize is a Microsoft Surface Go 2 Tablet! There are still more prizes to be won too and merchandize to give away, and for those who signed up to participate, it has been fun and exciting. Unfortunately, it’s too late to join for the prizes, but you can start reading and reviewing for the sheer fun of getting into these amazing stories.

The books are Christian Fiction with a difference; so relatable and inspiring. I know I haven’t accomplished this feat alone. God has been my muse, co-writer, and editor through this process, and it has been phenomenal.

I’m so excited that the story will continue beyond Season Five, but I plan for each new season to be a stand-alone, so that even though the series runs indefinitely, you won’t need to have read previous stories to fully enjoy the new seasons. So, Season Five is the last of its kind, and for this, it deserves a party!!!
