“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you” (John 15:16).
If the last two weeks’ themes could be titled “The Death”, then today’s theme is “The Resurrection”. The gift of God, what Jesus came to give us, is Eternal Life (Rom 6:23). We are called to LIVE, not simply to die. But before we can live right – live for Christ – we must first submit to death, and die to self.
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit” (John 12:24).
We are not waiting on God for waiting sake, but so that we may be empowered, made wise and receive instruction at His feet, and obey and live out the Truth and His commands. If He has commanded and empowered you to go and you stay waiting, or you continue to doubt that He has spoken or revealed anything to you…
