I want to start something new on my blog. I hope I can keep it up. Please encourage me 🙂
I listened to a sermon on the radio today by a 77 year old man, who uses humour to keep himself young and attract people to listen to his messages! He was so on point! He gave a prescription to make sure we make time to laugh every single day! I needed that.
One of the things he said was that, if you have children, there’s no reason for your house not to be full of laughter. Mine isn’t. I shout a lot 😦 I don’t think I’ve got the right approach at all. So I’m going to use that prescription for myself, and hopefully bless others too 🙂
Life is too short! We have the joy of the Lord in our hearts…there’s no reason we shouldn’t laugh everyday! The message of the Cross is seriously about JOY!
Here’s my first post on the #DailyMedicine. Won’t you laugh for Christ’s sake? I did!

The more I learn, the more I know the written word is vital for every aspect of our life, health, prosperity, ALL things.
– ALL things that pertain to lifeand godliness is found through the knowledge of Him! How amazing is that statement! We’re also told that we (God’s people) perish because we lack the proper knowledge.
All this is my lead up to agree with you, because we’re told:
1. The joy of the Lord is our strength!
2. A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
So I look forward to this series!

Oh, I completely agree; sometimes as Christians, I think we take ourselves entirely too seriously. Jesus told us He is the vine and we are His branches; if we abide in Him we can bear much fruit. And then He said, “I tell you all this so My joy may be in you, and your joy may be to the fullest!” Yes, the message of the Cross, is all about joy – the joy of His unconditional love and generous grace.
Be blessed, Ufuomaee! ❤
