“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
Do you know that? Do you believe that? Like, really, really believe that?
Right where you are, right this moment, all your sins have been forgiven. God has prepared a clean slate for you, to start a life anew, with His gracious help and love to guide you in righteousness.
Even before you thought to utter the words, “please forgive me”, God declared – YOU ARE FORGIVEN. More than a declaration, He showed how great a pardon He had bestowed on you, by taking your due punishment on the Cross, and releasing His Spirit of Grace and Truth unto all who believe and come to Him in humility.
It doesn’t matter what you have done. There is really nothing too BAD that will exempt you from receiving this pardon. Only that, you cannot be too proud to accept. It only works if you accept it.
Do you believe that Jesus once lived and walked on this Earth? Do you believe that He came to give His life as a ransom for many – you included? Do you believe in the redemptive power of the Cross? That not only are you forgiven, but by accepting His grace, you now have power to walk no longer in sin?
This salvation is an ultimate liberation from the power of Darkness that has the world bound. You are set free from your past, from the accusations of the Enemy, from your bondage to lies… You can now know and believe the Truth. You can now resist the Enemy… The Spirit He gives to those who truly believe; who surrender to Him in love and obedience, empowers them to be victorious and to walk in love.
You were forgiven, so that you would forgive… You are loved so that you would love… You have been healed so that you will heal others too… You have been shown the Way, so that you can show others the Way…
Are you ready to walk in victory and not defeat? Are you ready to live up to your true godly potential? Are you ready to really make a difference in this world? Are you ready to begin a new, glorious relationship with your Maker?
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18).
The only one standing in the way is YOU. The Devil can’t stop you from accepting this gift of God. Jesus sealed your victory on the Cross, you just need to take hold of it. Come on, what are you waiting for?
