A while ago, I met a man, who said he’s an Agnostic, but if he had a gun to his head, he would say he is an Atheist! Concerning his perspective of Christianity, he simply shook his head and laughed and said “Christianity is a JOKE!” Furthermore, he said “It is such a joke that it’s not even funny to laugh at anymore…”
We’d spoken about a few things, as I sought to understand his beliefs about life and relationships, but I left him feeling very sad. Because I couldn’t deny that Christianity is a joke! Right now…it is a big pathetic joke! Not just to those in the world, but to those within. Those who are supposedly leading the Church and have been appointed with the duty to teach true doctrine are JOKERS!!! It is so disheartening to see and realise that what you have held dear, others have trampled underfoot.
Consider the recent uproar about tithing, that has caused some unscrupulous pastors to come out and speak about it, contrary to their previous messages. Whether they think they are now speaking the truth, or that they are doing “damage control” for their businesses, so that they won’t be the last to confess, I don’t know. But their insincerity is GLARING! Consider the latest joker, captured in this Instagram video – https://www.instagram.com/p/Bf_dgHNhN0p/?r=wa1
I wish I could embed it, but please click on the link and watch for yourself. The man had the gall to say he threatened Believers with curses to pay tithes “because I didn’t know any better“! Say what??? Are you kidding me? Even Atheists who know the Bible would know that God wasn’t speaking to Christians in Malachi!
And why the hell is he laughing??? What is funny about the fact that he has been an ignorant fool, who has taken it upon himself to lead’s God’s people into bondage and made a mockery of the Cross?! Did he think that by saying “you know, we conjure all kinds of things…[laughs]…oh yes, we conjure all kinds of semantics in order to get them…” he is absolved of all responsibility and judgment, and that the matter will be swept under the carpet?
With the feedback, comments on the posts and responses people have been giving to other “Pastors” coming out to make “confessions”, I am afraid that he and they will certainly get away with their half-assed, unrepentant confessions. They are being politically correct without being CORRECT! They still don’t know, believe nor love the truth! They are very dangerous human beings! Wolves in sheep’s clothing, whose fangs are now very much on display, and they are just trying to keep up the pretense!
God knows how many among us are jokers and how many are truly saved! Jesus’ teaching and warning in Matthew 7 is extremely needful at this time:
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
I am assured that no joker will get past our Lord Jesus! No, not one.
