“So, you’re still childless?  After two pregnancies?!  Hmmm…  This is serious oh,” Ejiro said, shaking her head as she looked on sadly at her friend.  “How is Amadi taking this?”

Erhuvwun sighed, still feeling perplexed about everything.  She had come home to visit with her father for a couple of days and took the opportunity to see Ejiro.  She needed her friend right now…a woman to talk to, someone who could see things from her perspective.

“Hard.  He’s taking it very hard.  I see him lost in his thoughts often, and I know that that’s what he’s thinking about.”  Erhuvwun swallowed.  “I don’t know what to do…  I’m afraid this is going to tear us apart.”
