In the multitude of Merry Christmas greetings that are circulating today, it is only reasonable to ask… is the celebrant merry? When we wish others Merry Christmas and share our gifts, do we consider Jesus? Do we consider what would make Him merry? Are we really willing to give Him the Christmas gift He desires…
It is not in a multitude of our words, gifts or pleasures… it is in the contrition of our hearts, the unity of our passion and the humility of our service that Christ is glorified this and every day.
“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth” 1John 3:18
