The Spotlight: On Guilt, Racism and Gay Marriage

Hi Dear Readers,

I hope you enjoyed the three posts I shared with you last week!  If you missed them, you can click on the category The Spotlight, to read them all.

This week’s posts deal with our guilt when we sin against God, confronting racism in a loving way and defending our beliefs on the sanctity of marriage.  My brothers and sister who wrote their pieces took great care to help us overcome the tendency to avoid God when we are feeling unworthy of His love, the temptation to override the needs of others because of our own needs, and the need to challenge laws that deny our religious freedom.

Please read and be blessed, and be kind to share and drop a comment for the authours!

3. WHAT JESUS SAID ABOUT MARRIAGE EQUALITY by art & life notes

The words of Jesus have a way of keeping His followers off the fence. For example, in the ongoing religious freedom and marriage equality “debate,” it is sometimes pointed out that Jesus never said anything about homosexuality. Therefore, some have argued, perhaps followers of Jesus shouldn’t be saying anything about it either…
