The Spotlight: On Chastity, Godliness and Marriage

Hi Dear Readers,

I hope you enjoyed the three posts I shared with you last week!  If you missed them, you can click on the category The Spotlight, to read them all.

This week’s posts deal with our favourite topic, love, sex and relationships.  We are looking at the myth that there are no longer single Christian girls who keep themselves chaste.  This post by Frances has sparked a major controversy at The Naked Convos, where it was published, and where I shared my comments too.  We are also looking at the difference between “men of God” and men who are genuinely sold out for God, and why it is important to go for the latter when seeking to marry.  The third piece deals with how to ensure that our marriage is among the few blissful ones, by working to out-serve our partner, rather than complaining about their failings.

Please read and be blessed, and be kind to share and drop a comment for the authours!

Ladies, he can be man of God but still not be totally surrendered to God. He can do church, know the Word, fast and pray but still not be willing to live a life totally surrendered to God. He can be a grown man but still not fully grown in Christ. He can be a good man but still not be a God man, one who is sold out for God…

3. IS YOUR MARRIAGE A DESERT OR AN OASIS? by StopandPrayTV

There is a great picture of what a marriage should be like in Song of Solomon 1:14. The woman calls compares their relationship to En Gedi. En Gedi is an oasis in the desert near the Dead Sea. Out of nowhere, this oasis, with lush trees, plants, water and even a waterfall spring up…
